Position Overview
From July 2024 to July 2025, I served as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of CYBERSHIELD, the student-run cybersecurity association of AISSMS Institute of Information Technology (IOIT) in Pune.
In this leadership role, I was responsible for recruiting members, coordinating intra-club operations, organising technical workshops, and maintaining structural alignment across sub-teams (Technical, Design, Content, and Public Relations).
Key Accomplishments
- Talent Recruitment: Directed the interview and selection process for the student intake, managing recruitment for over 60+ active committee positions.
- Operations & Scheduling: Maintained the internal operations calendar, scheduling sessions on network security, ethical hacking, and web application pentesting.
- Platform Development: Contributed to building the official CyberShield attendance and student management portal (CyberShield Club Portal), integrating PostgreSQL, Next.js, and bulk Excel imports to streamline attendance logging.
- Event Coordination: Helped organise institute-level capture-the-flag (CTF) challenges, workshops, and cybersecurity awareness bootcamps.
Leadership Impact
Serving as the CHRO of CyberShield refined my administrative and team-building capabilities. It provided a platform to align student leadership goals with technical events, ensuring that both coordinators and participants could collaborate in a well-organized ecosystem.
