Relay was built out of a frustration that's familiar to any developer who has wired up transactional email: too much boilerplate, too many DNS gotchas, and no single place to see what's actually happening after you hit send. It's a **full-stack email operations dashboard** that sits on top of the Resend API and handles the infrastructure complexity end-to-end.

At the core is a **domain management module** that walks you through adding a custom sending domain and automatically verifies SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, giving you a clear green-light status before a single email goes out. Paired with that is a **JSX template studio** built on React Email and Monaco Editor, where you can write and preview responsive HTML emails in real time without ever leaving the browser.

For day-to-day sending, the **Tiptap-powered compose interface** lets you draft rich-text emails and fire them directly from the dashboard. Every outbound and inbound email is then tracked through a **live analytics layer** (delivery rates, open rates, bounce rates, and daily activity charts), so deliverability issues surface immediately rather than silently. The whole platform is secured with **Better Auth**, backed by Drizzle ORM on NeonDB, and hardened with Upstash Redis rate limiting on every API route.
